In-band Network Telemetry (INT) is an emerging new network monitoring technology that can help network operators get much deeper insight and understanding of the characteristics of their infrastructure and the applications running over it, but it also has implications for handling the potential large volumes of data generated.
This GÉANT Infoshare will present how In-band Network Telemetry is used to measure packet transmission between four sites in different NRENs (CESNET, GARR, GRNET), at capacities between 1Mbps up to 1Gbps and quantifying the effect of transport in the core backbones at the microsecond level.
A previous infoshare on deployment of In-band Network Telemetry (INT) on Research & Education Networks is available here: https://youtu.be/_1W_psrCXLM
